Meet Our

Alfred E. Peavy

I am a native of Brooklyn (Brooklyn Tech. and Brooklyn College) and have lived in Phoenicia both full and part-time since 1972. This has helped me gain a very thorough knowledge of the central Catskills region. I began as a Lic. Salesperson at Ruth Gale Realty in 2004 and became the owner in 2007. I was the 2020 President of the Ulster County Board of Realtors, voted 2018/2019 Ulster County Realtor of the Year, a Director  on the Board of the Ulster County Board of Realtors from 2016 – 2023 and a Director on the Board of the Ulster County Multiple Listing Service from 2014 – 2015. I served in the U.S. Army from 1974 – 1976 as a Pershing Missile Tech. In my prior business life I worked for the NY Telephone Co. (Verizon Tech), IBM (Mainframe Tech) and Dana Corp.

Faye Storms

I was born in Rochester, NY and moved to NYC at the age of 16 to study at
F.I.T. After graduating magna cum laude with one Degree in Fashion Design
and another in Illustration, I met my photographer husband and helped him
run his studios in Los Angeles and New York. We discovered this area and
fell in love with it for a second home first, then a full time home. Currently, I serve as the President of the Ulster County Board of Realtors and have been a 2-term Town of Shandaken Councilwoman and Co Chair of the Ulster County IDA., Past President of the Shandaken Chamber of Commerce, The Shandaken Women’s Network and Board member of the Belleayre Conservatory, Shandaken Theatrical Society, Shandaken Planning Board and Rotary member. I have always been actively involved in the local community. Creatively obsessed, I am a sometimes actress, singer and known artist. I also own The Blue Barn Marketplace, (A 5000SF Vintage and Antique Dealer Center). Let’s join forces and find you that special BUYER for your home and/or amazing Property for yourself. The ADVENTURE awaits…..

My love for the Catskills / Hudson Valley and my family’s long-standing presence in Woodstock has kept me in the area while others have come and gone. With the goal of making a positive impact on my community and the environment, I graduated from Marist College with a dual major in Environmental and Political Science, minoring in Economics. I was a Senior Planner for a Hudson Valley-based Planning and Development Consulting firm for over a decade and was admitted to the American Institute of Certified Planners. My work primarily involved municipal planning services (reviewing Site Plans, Subdivisions, etc) and environmental impact analysis and review pursuant to New York State’s SEQR act. Sounds like important and community-changing work, but more often than not it was bureaucracy, opposing interests and unsatisfying compromises.

Rich Greenspan

I have always been a New York Fan and with that comes loyalty, commitment and lots of energy. As a kid growing up in Long Island, NY, I learned early that a combination of strong family values and a savvy business sense would be my edge. I graduated from the business school at the University of Miami and my next path was raising kids and working for my family retail business specializing in site selection, lease negotiations, store operations, human resources and sales.

Amy Rosen

I’m originally from Atlanta but also lived in Brooklyn, Northern NJ, Santa Monica, and more recently, Phoenicia. I came here as a renter in 2010, intending to stay just one summer but became instantly beguiled and never left! I purchased a home through Ruth Gale Realty in 2012. The experience made me feel as if the home found me, and as a result I started to see deep value in helping others sell or find homes here. My former professional life included ten years at a well-known global ad agency, where I brokered high-end music and celebrity deals. I have also worked in film, television and music and hold a BA in English and an MFA in Performing Arts Management. Creative marketing ideas and trend-spotting insights are among my talents, along with extensive negotiating experience, excellent written and oral communication skills, and a keen troubleshooting eye.
